The restaurant at Island’s Hotel has an old-school rich design, like an aunt’s house where the furniture is covered in plastic. The sotanghon guisado was great, with plenty of vegetables. However, the beef salpicao and garlic mushrooms were too sweet. The seafood salad was good, but the calamares were rubbery.
This is by far my best go to coffee shop/restaurant. I will never get tired of ordering and tasting their food and beverages. The food are prepared properly and tastes really good, from pastry to appetizers to main dish. I will always order the Choco Java Chip and Hazelnut Goya frappe. This is a good place to relax, bond with family and friends. The price is just right. The staff are friendly and polite. You can even request to make the coffee stronger. The staff was even polite enough to replace the beef brisket that I ordered as the corn somehow tasted sour already, I have already consumed half of the plate before I tasted the corn, but he still replaced it with a new order.
We love this restaurant. I had the Chicken Arroz Soup, and grilled salmon. It was the best meal I had in a restaurant since I’ve arrived in Iloilo. It was absolutely delightful. I can’t wait to return. Typically, I prefer to try new meals when I return to a restaurant. However, I will have the same meal on my next visit to Roxas City.
Came here for my mom’s birthday and she enjoyed it. The staff even sang for her and played the song on the restaurants speakers. Very cozy interior. I ordered pizza and it was delicious. My mocha drink was great as well. The ferrero cake could be improved, some parts were moist and some parts were dry. I decided to try their crinkles as well however I found it to be too thin so i didn’t get that “fudgey” crinkle effect.
